The new Government will be lobbied to close up a loophole which is denying post 16-year-olds and under-five disabled children from accessing school transport.
To take this campaign to the next stage we need stronger evidence on how the loophole is affecting families so we can make a stronger case for change with whoever wins the next election.
We have put together a quick survey, in partnership with parents at SEND Action and the #closetheloop campaign group. The survey asks questions on what travel arrangements local authorities provide for 16-19 year olds and under 5s, how many are being charged and at what levels, are discretionary funds such as the 16-19 bursary helping with travel costs.
The survey takes no more than 10 minutes to completed and the deadline is Monday 2 December 2019.
